1. Annapurna Scheme

Annapurna Yojana was started by the Government of India on 31 October 2015 from Bamori village of Jaipur district. Under the Annapurna Yojana, those women entrepreneurs who want to set up food catering industry to sell food items like packaged food, snacks etc. Under this scheme, a loan amount of fifty thousand rupees will be given to those women entrepreneurs by the State Bank of Mysore and which will have to be paid in monthly installments of 36 months. The interest rate of this loan will be charged according to the market rate and to get this loan, the women entrepreneur needs a guarantor, because without the guarantor, this loan will not be given to the women entrepreneur. 2. Oriental Women's Development Scheme (Orient Mahila Vikas Yojana Scheme)-

Oriental Mahila Vikas Yojana -: Under this scheme, Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) bank provides loans to women who are self-employed, individually or jointly, and hold 51% share capital. In Oriental Mahila Vikas Yojana, women entrepreneurs are given loans ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 25 lakh for small scale industries. Accordingly, no guarantor is required to avail this loan and women entrepreneurs can repay their loan over a period of 7 years. Loan interest rate concession of about 2% is also given to women entrepreneurs.


3. Mudra Yojana Scheme for Women –

Under this scheme, run by the Government of India, women who want to start their business with small enterprises, such as tuition centers, tailoring units or beauty parlours, are given loans without the need for any collateral guarantor. You will also be given a Mudra card at the time of loan disbursement and this Mudra card will work like your credit card with a limit of 10% of the loan amount. You can take advantage of Mudra Yojana through three people, which are as follows –


  • Shishu – In this the loan amount is limited to 50000.

  • Kishore – In this the loan amount ranges from Rs 50000 to Rs 5 lakh. It can be availed by people with established enterprise.

  • Tarun – In this the loan amount is up to Rs.1000000.

4. Bharatiya Mahila Bank Business Loan

Bharatiya Mahila Bank Business Loan:

Bharatiya Mahila Bank Business Loan is tailored for women entrepreneurs who want to start their new venture against property, retail and SME. Women entrepreneurs are given maximum loan amount up to 200000000 under this scheme and on which a rebate of 0.25% is also given. The interest rate on this loan amount is usually 10.15% or more. The best thing about the Bharatiya Mahila Bank Vocationalization Scheme is that it does not require collateral security for loans up to one crore under the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Small and Micro Enterprises.


5. Dena Shakti Scheme –

If women entrepreneurs want to grow their business in the field of agriculture, manufacturing, micro-credit, retail stores or micro enterprises and those who need financial assistance, these types of loans are provided under Dena Shakti Yojana. Women entrepreneurs are given a maximum loan amount of 2000000 under this scheme for retail business, on which the interest rate is zero point 25%. Women entrepreneurs can easily repay this amount through monthly payment of installments by the bank provided in the loan.


6. Udyogini Scheme –

Mahila Udyogini Scheme -: Under the Udyogini scheme, women whose age is between 18 and 45 years are given loans up to Rs 1 lakh. These loans are for working in business, agriculture, retail and small entrepreneur sector. If the annual income of the family of a female entrepreneur is less than Rs 45000 then only she can get loan through Udyogini Yojana. A subsidy of 30% is also provided for loans up to Rs 10,000 to widows, destitute or disabled women belonging to SC and ST categories.


7. Cent Kalyani Scheme –

If women want to start their new venture or want to modify it, then they are given the benefit of DHS loan scheme by the Central Bank of India. Under this scheme, this loan can be taken by those women entrepreneurs who are involved in business enterprises like village, small, and medium industries, self-employment, agricultural retail trade. Under this scheme, women entrepreneurs do not require any guarantor while taking loan and the maximum loan amount given under this scheme is 1 lakh.


8. Mahila Udyam Nidhi Scheme

Mahila Udyam Nidhi Yojana has been launched by the Punjab National Bank and the objective of this scheme is to support the women enterprises involved in small scale industries by giving them loans. The loan amount given under the Mahila Udyam Nidhi Yojana can be easily repaid by the women entrepreneur in a period of 10 years. Under Mahila Nidhi Yojana, different loan schemes are also included to buy beauty parlor, day care center, auto rickshaw two wheeler Radhe and the maximum loan amount given under this scheme is Rs 1000000.
